Soa "The Hulk" Palelei FIGHTING DANIEL CORMIER FOR THE XMMA WORLD TITLE

Soa Palelei (11-2) will be fighting former 2x U.S Olympian Daniel Cormier on the next Xtreme MMA show in Sydney on the 6th of November.

Palelei's last fight was against fellow Australian heavyweight Brad Morris on the Impact FC 2 event in Sydney on 18th of July. Palelei dominated his opponent inside the clinch and stopped Morris with a keylock before the end of the first round.

Cormier an American Kickboxing Academy fighter, will be making his second trip down to Australia to compete in MMA, after defeating Australian Lucas Browne at Xtreme MMA 2 on July 31. Cormier was a member of the 2004 U.S Olympic wrestling team and was the captain of the 2008 Olympic team, where he was unable to compete due to kidney failure.
Cormier is undefeated in MMA with a record of 3-0 and is scheduled to fight on Friday the 14th when he takes on Tony Johnson before backing up and fighting on the Strikeforce: Houston show where he is due to face Jason Riley on August 21. Cormier signed an eight fight deal with Strikeforce before even having an MMA fight.

Cormier will also be a team coach on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter alongside team mate Josh Koscheck.
